Frequently Asked Questions

Let's answer the most frequently asked question first... "Are we sisters?"

Technically, no we are not sisters but we might as well be. It is eerie at times how much we are alike. Although we have different strengths and weaknesses, we think it is what makes us such a great team. Having a job where we get to be creative and serve others brings us joy. Our greatest desire is to make it the most special day for each of our couples. We want you to have The Best Day Ever!

Do you do more than one wedding a day at the farmhouse?

No, we only host one wedding a day. You have access to the property at 8:00am and the DJ must stop playing at 10:00pm.

Is there a space for the bridal party to get ready?

Yes. We have a beautiful bridal suite for the bride and bridesmaids to use for the day. We provide a nice spread of food, orange juice and a bottle of champagne for the day. Most of our girls have hair and makeup done onsite. We also have our "Bunkhouse" for the groom and groomsmen to use. We provide snacks for them as well. The bridal party will have access to their rooms as early as they need on the day of the wedding.

Can we have our own wedding coordinator

We are unique in that at our venue, Beth and Stacee are part of the package. Their services allow you to really enjoy your day and we promise they are worth it!

What happens if it rains?

If the weather isn't cooperating then we watch the radar to see if we are dealing with a passing shower or more lingering rain. If it's just a a passing shower, we keep the bridal party in their rooms, wait for the rain to pass, then wipe down all the chairs and start. If the rain will not stop, then we have all the guests sit at their table and chairs under the tent, and the couple gets married on the dance floor.

Can we choose our own caterer?

Yes, you will choose your own vendors except the rental company. We use Luxe Party Rentals and we will handle all your rental needs through them. As far as your other vendors, you will choose your own caterer, cake, DJ, photographer, etc, but we do have a list of recommended vendors.

Can we have alcohol?

Yes, if you choose to have beer and wine, it will be $300 for our bar setup, bartender for the event, and liability insurance coverage. If you also serve liquor, the package is $400. You will provide what is being served and then we will handle everything else.

How long have you been hosting weddings?

We had our first wedding at the farmhouse in October of 2013. It was a friend of the family who asked if they could get married in front of the barn. We had such an amazing time pulling off their Big Day that the next spring, we hosted three more weddings for friends. By the fall of 2014, we began the journey of what we call Tucker's Farmhouse Events and the rest is history!

Are you open all year round?

No, because we are an outside only venue, we do not do weddings in June, July, or August. It is way too hot!

What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently, we accept cash, checks, and/or credit cards.

What is the deposit?

Our deposit is a non-refundable $500 which will hold your date. You can make payments in any amount, at anytime.  An additional $1500 payment is due 90 days prior to the event. The final balance is due 30 days before the wedding.

Can I have access to the house on the day of our event?

The house on the property at Tucker's Farmhouse is a private residence. The homeowners live on site, and work in the barn. Therefore, these two spaces are not used for weddings or events.

Can we take pictures on the property?

Yes. Contact our staff prior to your session to confirm that your date is available. We DO NOT allow photo shoots on the days we are hosting weddings or events. There is a $50 fee to use the property per photo visit. There is a $250 fee to use the property for mini-sessions. Plan to share the property with others! No matter the session you choose, there's always the possibility that others will be on site for photos too. There are two areas for parking...Facing the woods to the right of the driveway, or in the parking pasture facing the border fences. Park in a way that allows others to come and go easily. DO NOT  block the driveway. TAKE NOTE - Tucker's Farmhouse is a private home. Please be respectful to the owners.

What is your maximum capacity?
